Oct 15 – get new book for new 6 weeks Nov 2 – half of book should be read. Take notes on requirements from the rubric as they are reading. Nov 16 – book should be finished. Continue to take notes as reading continues. Nov 17 – write first paragraph of book review Nov18 – write second paragraph of book review (please keep it to two paragraphs) Nov 19 – lay out parts and organize project Nov 20 – work the theme and conflicts into the project (use figurative language!) Nov 23-27 – Thanksgiving break Nov 30 – work the characterization into the project (use figurative language!) Dec 1 – Make sure there is textual evidence to support your writing and revise project Dec 2 – Edit and print (yes it must be typed – 12 point font, Times New Roman, double spaced) Have someone compare the project to the rubric. Make sure to check spelling, grammar, and word usage. Dec 3 – Make any needed changes and print Dec 4 – project and book review due |
